page 80 Back To page 81 The Original Gas Mixer is an Ugly looking thing which
needed to be covered up so the Edelbrock Air Cleaner Top was found at a
swap meet and bought for $10, I then had the bottom of an other Air Cleaner
which had the Centre hole enlarged to fit over the mixer, I then had to
make a centre plate which bolted to the Top of the Gas Mixer, Threaded
internal sections were then used to hold it all together.
The fake plastic nuts were removed from the top and real
Allen Bolts were used to keep it all looking the same I bought some black
expanded Aluminium Mesh to go around the perimeter and make all look neat,
well I think so.
