How I did my 1937 Willys Headlamp Conversion P1
Go to page 2

What I did was to get a 37/38 Willys Headlamp Bucket, measure 1/2" back from front edge and Cut, get Anglia Headlamp with Trim Ring, Lens and Reflector. Remove Trim Ring Retaining Clip, Cut Headlamp Bucket 1/2" behind Trim Ring.

Weld remaining part of Willys Headlamp Bucket to the Front section of Anglia Headlamp Bucket.
The Anglia Trim Ring, Lens and Reflector is held together by the curve of the Front Fender lip,ie: The Fender Hole is a bit smaller then the Trim Ring so can't fall out. The only item to be purchased is the Quartz Halogen Globe (Bulb)
which is readily available in Australia, can't comment on the availabilty in USA .
The only drawback with this conversion is that to adjustment up and down and side to side is fine, but to properly focus the Headlamp Globe, it needs to be moved in and out, which can only be done by removing the whole Headlamp assembly, removing the reflector, loosening the Globe and sliding it in or out, by trail and error and then putting it all back together.
e
You can see the slight ripped paper which has been placed around the trim ring to protect it from
scratching when the whole Headlamp Assembly was tightened into the Fender opening.
This has since been removed.

The Headlamp still uses the original Willys Headlamp Retaining Strap with the Screw below the Headlamp.
