P43 These small attaching devices were made from scrap ,
short sections of slotted 1"RHS, a small piece of flat
sheet with a hole drilled behind the Door Skin to which
a Short section of 5/16 Rod is inserted, it is the
all tightened upwith a Wing Nut using a 1/4 Screw which
is welded to the plate.
I hope I have explained that ok
Here we see the Patch Panel Tack Welded to the Door Skin,
the vertical rear section (hidden) has
been made and the rear of the Door is all but finished,
I am still making the Front Vertical Section
for the Door which will be in place before the Door Skin
is finally welded.
So far about 8hrs of work have gone into the Door repair.
